Katy Watts

Katy is the Co-Chair of Governors alongside Steve Porter. Katy is dedicated to the school's development, providing strategic and practical support and has also volunteered in the classroom as well as with Friends of Watcombe over the years. As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant and an Emotional Support Literacy Assistant within the Pastoral Team at another local Primary School, Katy is passionate about the holistic wellbeing of all children and strives to support their social and emotional development, including overcoming barriers to learning.

Additionally, Katy is in her second year of a BA (Honours) degree in Childhood and Youth Studies and also volunteers for Action for Children.

Katy aims to use her knowledge and experience to support and challenge the School Leadership Team, helping to maintain and improve the school's high standards of education and care for all pupils.
