Pesky Periscopes!

We are continuing our Science Topic looking at Light and Vision. This week we have looked at how periscopes work and then we were set the challenge of making our own.

We were given a template and some mirrors, as well as sticky tape, and then had to follow the instructions to make our own – without ANY help from the adults. 

This proved to be very tricky! But we persevered and worked together and all managed to build our own working persicopes. It was a great learning experience having to build our own models, and then having to work out how to mount the mirrors correctly to enable the periscopes to work. This task really challenged us but we are all really proud of our finished models.
